肉骨茶,肥肉和瘦骨熬煮在香濃的藥茶里,是馬來西亞馳名道地的傳統美食。我們叫肉骨茶,並不是我們特別喜歡吃肉骨茶,而是我們的組合擁有肉骨茶的特徵:一肥一瘦!
衆所周知,茶湯燉得越久,出來的味道就越香濃。我們肉骨茶亦是如此,因爲我們肥肉和瘦骨一起在藥茶裏燉熬了已有整整15年了!
從1994年小學二年級同班認識,到1999年升上中學雖分道揚鑣但卻一直書信聯絡,再到2004年中六再度同班邂逅,如今到2009年分隔馬新兩地留學的我們再繼前緣,爲了夢想成立了肉骨茶。
話不多說,一起來領你穿梭時光隧道,回到過去看看小時候鎧毅和文明的可愛模樣,哈哈。
Bak Kut Teh, literally translates as “meat bone tea”, is one of famous Malaysian local cuisines. Our team name is Bak Kut Teh, not because we love to eat Bak Kut Teh, but we look like Bak Kut Teh: one fatty (meat/Bak) and one skinny (bone/Kut).
Although Bak Kut Teh just formed not more than 20 Days, Bak and Kut have been friends for 15 years!!
We first met during Standard Two in 1994. We split apart during secondary school in 1999. We met again during Form Six in 2004. We formed Bak Kut Teh for pursuing a DREAM in 2009.
Long story short, let’s us travel through time machine, back to the past to see our little cute Bak and Kut!

看到吧,我們的肥肉文明小時候還很苗條的哦,哈哈,而且還比小鎧毅還要高咧!雖然我們二年級同班認識,但真正結爲好朋友關係是在我們五年級開始的。
Look, our “Bak” Boon Ming was so slim at that time, haha, and even taller than little Kai Yit. Although we met at standard two, we started to become BEST friends when we were in standard five.

這一年開始,我們開始成爲了好朋友,因爲那時候我們倆是常識組的校隊代表,共同並肩作戰。另外一個原因是我們都迷上了偵探遊戲,天天幻想是偵探(看太多柯南了,哈哈)。
大家是否注意到,鎧毅和文明在這個時期出現了很不同的生理發展趨勢。小文明開始向橫發展,有肥肉的影子了,而小鎧毅也有點瘦骨化的傾向了。
In this year, we started to be best pals, thanks to our same interests and hobbies. Both of us were school representatives of Quiz competitions and had enthusiastic about DETECTIVE. We even had dreamed of being detectives as our ambitions.
Hey guys, do you realize something? At that moment, physical development of Kai Yit and Boon Ming were apparently became different in term of angle. Little Boon Ming had started to grow HORIZONTALLY while little Kai Yit did oppositely: VERTICAL.

小鎧毅和小文明並肩作戰,第一次拿到獎,為校爭光!這是我們在當年的吉隆坡南區常識問答比賽中,代表循人小學出征,奪得季軍。
注意!這時候小鎧毅在身高上已經與小文明拉開距離了,肉骨茶漸漸成形了,哈哈!
First time little Bak and Kut struggled together and achieved GLORY!! We were the second runner-up in KL Southern Area Quiz Competition!! So proud of it, haha!!
Look! At the meantime, little Kai Yit had surpassed Boon Ming in height, Bak Kut Teh were SHAPING on its way!!
1998年末,我們小學畢業了,我們第一次分道揚鑣,到不同的中學繼續我們人生另一段旅程。但,距離並不是我們友情流長的堤壩,書信成了我們彼此間的橋梁。
分道揚鑣的那一刻,我們從未想過五年後我們會再度成爲同窗,這也是很多人,包括我在内,一場始料不及的重逢……
We graduated from primary school during end of 1998, and we had our first split up because we moved to different secondary school. However, distance was not an obstacle to our FRIENDSHIP, and we started to mail each other since then.
The moment we split, we never expect we will become classmates AGAIN in 5 years later. This was our precious REUNION which been foreseen by no one.
